Happy New Year

Hello friends. Hope you had a happy and safe holidays and that your friends and family are well. Writing to let you know that we’re still hard at work, connecting with Look-Alikes and their representatives to advance the needs of the LAL community. We’ve had some promising meetings in late 2020 and are looking forward to forging new partnerships with advocates in Washington and around the United States, through 2021.

As we transition to a new administration, we’re hopeful that picks for HHS and the house appropriations committee will lend an empathetic ear to our concerns and circumstances. As we enter the vaccine rollout, we understand LALs will be the front lines for vaccination of our most vulnerable populations. We stand with you and continue to work diligently to educate our representatives to the plight of LALs. We are hopeful for 2021 and will keep you posted to our efforts.

If you have any questions, concerns, stories, or statistics that may be useful to our advocacy efforts, please do not hesitate to reach out.
